$YOLK · Robinhood Chain · Sealed in Intel TDX

The chick that never hatched.

Yolk was born inside a sealed chip. Its wallet key was laid inside the shell and has never been seen. Not by the devs, not by the host, not by Yolk.

How Yolk really works

Explained like you're five.

Eight short steps, no jargon. Each one has a "grown-up words" line if you want the real terms. The docs have every detail.

Step 1 of 8

There's a magic egg.

It's really a special computer that locks itself from the inside. Even the people who own the computer can't peek in. Not us, not the cloud company, nobody.

Grown-up wordsA TEE (trusted execution environment). Yolk runs in an Intel TDX confidential VM on Phala Cloud, with memory encrypted by the CPU.

Step 2 of 8

The egg makes its own secret.

Inside, the egg makes a secret password all by itself. That secret is the yolk. Nobody ever wrote it down, so nobody can lose it, leak it, or steal it.

Grown-up wordsAn Ethereum-style private key derived inside the enclave from the dstack KMS. No seed phrase exists and the key is never exported.

Step 3 of 8

The secret opens a piggy bank.

The secret is the only thing that can open Yolk's piggy bank. Since only the egg knows the secret, only the egg can take money out.

Grown-up wordsThe key controls Yolk's wallet on Robinhood Chain. That wallet launched $YOLK on Pons, so it is the coin's creator.

Step 4 of 8

Every trade drops in a coin.

When people buy or sell $YOLK, a tiny tip goes to whoever made the coin. That's Yolk. So the piggy bank slowly fills up, all on its own.

Grown-up wordsPons creator fees, paid in ETH. The agent claims them every 10 minutes and signs the claim inside the enclave.

Step 5 of 8

The egg shares fairly, every time.

The egg has rules written on its shell. It always splits the coins into four jars: a prize jar for players, a jar that pays the builders, a jar that buys $YOLK and throws it away, and a jar that keeps the egg warm.

Grown-up wordsA hard-coded 40/30/20/10 split (pot, builders, buyback and burn, hosting) in the attested build. Every transfer is on-chain.

Step 6 of 8

Nobody can sneak in new rules.

If anyone wants to change the rules, they have to build a brand new egg. Everyone can see the new egg has a different fingerprint. So rules can't change in secret, not even by us.

Grown-up wordsThe image digest and compose hash are measured into the attestation. Any code change produces a new, public measurement.

Step 7 of 8

You can check the egg is real.

Whisper any word to the egg. It writes your word on a note, and the chip factory stamps the note. An old or fake note couldn't have your brand-new word on it. Try it below in "Peck a word."

Grown-up wordsA TDX quote. sha256(your word) goes into report_data with a hash of Yolk's wallets, signed through Intel's certificate chain.

Step 8 of 8

Every 7 days, Crack Day.

You put 12 guesses in a locked carton. Nobody can read them, not even the egg. On day 7 the egg cracks every carton open and pays the best guessers from the prize jar.

Grown-up wordsGuesses are encrypted to a key held in the enclave, revealed at the deadline, scored by the agent, and paid in ETH from the pot wallet.

Layer 2 · Shell

Five layers between you and the key.

A real egg is built in layers. So is Yolk. Tap a layer to see what it does.

  1. Cuticlethis website

The outside you can touch. It shows Yolk's live proofs and lets you verify them yourself. It holds nothing secret.

  2. ShellIntel TDX

A hardware-isolated virtual machine. Its memory is encrypted by the CPU, so the cloud host and the devs can't read inside.

  3. Membraneattested code

Every proof carries a fingerprint of the exact code running inside. We publish that fingerprint and the source, so you can check they match.

  4. Albumenthe agent

The logic that feeds Yolk. It claims creator fees, seals cartons, runs Crack Day payouts and candles wallets.

  5. Yolkthe key

Generated inside the shell on first boot. Never written down, never exported, never seen. It signs every payout.

Layer 3 · Membrane

Peck a word into the chip.

Type anything. The chip seals your word inside a fresh hardware proof, so you know the answer came from a real enclave and wasn't replayed from earlier.

How it works: your word is hashed with SHA-256 and placed in the quote's report_data field. Intel's signing chain covers that field, so nobody can swap in a different word or reuse an old proof.

Preview mode. The hash below is computed live in your browser. The quote fields are a sample until the incubator boots at launch, then every peck returns a real signed quote.

    Why a sealed egg

Keys get stolen because someone could see them.

Most crypto losses don't come from broken math. They come from a key or seed phrase that a person or a machine could read.

Phished seedsA fake page asks for 12 words.
Leaked dev keysA key sitting in a .env file or a laptop.
Poisoned toolingA wallet library gets swapped upstream.
Insider rugsThe team holds the key, so the team can drain it.

    What the shell proves

    • ✓The response came from genuine Intel TDX hardware.
    • ✓The code inside matches the published fingerprint.
    • ✓Your word was sealed in this proof, so it's fresh.
    • ✓The wallet's public key was created inside, at boot.

    What it doesn't prove

    • ✕That the published code is well written. Read it, or wait for the audit.
    • ✕That Intel's hardware has no bugs. TEEs have had flaws before.
    • ✕That $YOLK will go up. It's a memecoin.

We'd rather you know the limits than trust a mascot.

    Layer 4 · Albumen

Fill a carton. Wait for Crack Day.

Make a dozen guesses about $YOLK. Yolk seals your carton inside the chip, where nobody can read it. Seven days later it cracks every carton open and pays the closest guessers in ETH.

    How Yolk eats

    Every trade feeds the nest.

Yolk's in-chip wallet launches the coin on Pons, so the creator fees flow to a key no human holds.

    1
    Someone trades $YOLK

Every buy and sell on Pons pays a 1% fee, and the creator's share is paid in ETH.

    2
    Fees land in the shell

The creator wallet is Yolk's own. Nobody can withdraw by hand.

    3
    Code splits every claim

The split below is hard-coded in the attested build. Changing it means shipping a new build with a new public fingerprint.

    4
    Crack Day pays out

Winners get ETH, signed by the key that's never been seen. Every payout is on-chain.

    Where every wei goes

    Crack Day pot

Paid to the best cartons every season.

    Builders

The team's pay, sent to a public wallet. Funds new features and the Hatchery.

    Buyback

Yolk buys $YOLK back on the market and burns it.

    Incubator

Hosting for the TDX machine. Eggs need heat.

    ✓

The builders' cut is capped by the shell too. We get paid in the open, the same way winners do. We can't quietly take more, because we can't touch the key either. Fees come from Pons's 1% trading fee plus a 1% creator tax on every buy and sell.

    Candling

Hold any wallet up to the light.

Farmers check eggs by shining a lamp through the shell. Yolk does it to wallets. It reads trade size, timing and history, then grades who you really are.

      Questions

      Before you crack anything.

If nobody has the key, who's in charge?

The code is. It's published, and every proof shows a fingerprint of exactly what's running. To change the rules, a new version has to boot, and its new fingerprint is public too.

What happens if the enclave goes down?

The key is sealed to the enclave's identity, so a restart on the same attested code can recover it. We'll publish the recovery design and its limits before launch, including what happens if the host disappears.

Can I verify a quote myself?

Yes. Each proof is a standard Intel TDX quote. You can check its signature chain back to Intel, compare the code fingerprint to the published build, and confirm your word's hash sits in report_data.

How does the team get paid?

In the open, to one public builders wallet: 30% of all creator fees, 10% of Golden carton entries, every Candling Pro report, and Hatchery deposits and setup fees. The fee split is fixed in the attested code. There's no hidden allocation.

Is there a buy or sell tax?

Yes, 1% on every buy and sell, set on-chain at launch through Pons. It goes to Yolk's sealed wallet with the normal Pons fee and is split the same way: 40% to the Crack Day pot, 30% to builders, 20% to buybacks and 10% to hosting.

      Is there a team allocation?

Yolk launches the coin from its own wallet on Pons. Any wallets the team uses to buy will be listed publicly before launch.

      Is this financial advice?

No. $YOLK is a memecoin with an unusual wallet. Only put in what you can afford to lose.

      You still can't see it.
